Dr. Monir Mohar is a well-experienced surgeon who has focused on pioneering and utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and state-of-the-art minimally invasive interventional techniques in the treatment of musculoskeletal, orofacial, and spinal pain and dysfunction.

Dr. Mohar is a graduate of Sir Salimullah Medical College, with surgical residency at Columbia University Medical Center affiliated Harlem Hospital Center, Physical Medicine residency at New York Medical College/Metropolitan Hospital, and fellowship training in interventional pain management at the OMNI Pain and Precision Medicine in New York. He is board-certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and board-eligible in Pain Medicine and Interventional Pain Management.

He has vast surgical experience (General Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Trauma Surgery) and research experience in his career, which makes him unique in the field of Interventional Pain Management. His experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation focuses on functional improvement, his experience in pain management focuses on the improvement of pain and quality of life, and his surgical experience focuses on performing the most advanced surgical interventional techniques to resolve pain and dysfunction.

Dr. Mohar utilizes Stem Cell Therapy/Regenerative Medicine focusing on large joints (shoulder, hip, knee), and spinal disc treatments. Treatments include Discseel®, BioDisc®, Viadisc®, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), and Bone Marrow Concentrate (BMC). Dr. Mohar uses regenerative techniques to treat pain of the spine, joints, and extremities.
